1. PUBLIC HEALTH SPECIALIST (CONSULTANCY)

The Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) is seeking a qualified and experienced Public Health Specialist to provide technical expertise under the project Strengthening Adaptation Planning and Coordination in Namibia (NAP), funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

The consultant will support the integration of public health considerations into Namibia’s National Adaptation Plan (NAP), ensuring that climate-related health risks, vulnerabilities, and adaptation priorities are effectively analysed and embedded into national and sectoral planning processes. The role will involve stakeholder coordination, technical input into policy and planning frameworks, and contributing to evidence-based adaptation strategies that strengthen climate resilience in the health sector.

1. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND MENTORSHIP 

The Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) is inviting competent consultants to promote inclusive participation in wetland monitoring and bird conservation by supporting new entrants from local communities to engage in and contribute to regular site monitoring activities.

The consultant will lead a series of monthly engagement and mentoring sessions with under-represented communities, including youth, students, and community members from diverse backgrounds, and to support their integration into the existing wetland and birding community.

2. CALL FOR QUOTATION: UPGRADE OF SIVARA PROCESSING FACILITY

We invite qualified contractors to submit quotations for the upgrade and modification of the Namib Desert Jojoba Processing Facility in Sivara Village, Kavango West Region.

This project aims to strengthen local value chains and support Namibia’s School Feeding Programme by improving processing infrastructure to meet food safety and operational standards.
