Founded in 1987, the Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) is one of Namibia’s oldest and largest homegrown environmental organisations. Originally established to raise and manage funds for wildlife conservation and protected area management, our mission has evolved significantly. While we continue to emphasise the protection of parks and endangered species, our current focus
encompasses broad sustainable development that integrates both people and the environment.
Over the years, our work has expanded considerably, covering most facets of the Namibian environment and establishing us as a key national institution. We now support various environmental aspects, sustainable development initiatives, and the wise and ethical management
of natural resources.
As a leading national non-governmental organisation, our extensive scope of work and diverse
range of partnerships form the foundation of our value proposition.
