B2Gold Namibia’s Otjikoto Environmental Education Centre, known for its commitment to environmental learning and community development, generously hosted a week-long leadership development training for NNF staff. The training was facilitated by our valued partner, Maliasili—an organisation dedicated to supporting conservation leaders and strengthening African environmental organisations to achieve greater impact.

This dynamic session focused on building leadership capacity, fostering collaboration, and unpacking strategic priorities that will shape NNF’s future. Leadership development is essential to driving meaningful and sustainable change in conservation, and this training provided a powerful platform for reflection, learning, and growth.

Looking ahead, NNF is exploring new coaching and peer support processes to sustain our leadership journey. One exciting idea includes introducing a “Who Am I” exercise using a personality framework to promote self-awareness, team cohesion, and individual growth. We are grateful for these partnerships that help us grow stronger, together.
