Beekeeping Training Strengthens Livelihoods in the Zambezi Region

Following World Bee Day, 19 participants in Kongola, Zambezi Region, gained hands-on beekeeping and honey harvesting skills, producing 50kg of honey. Through the MaKwa Honey initiative, led by the Mayuni and Kwandu Conservancies, communities are creating sustainable livelihoods while supporting conservation and pollinator protection.

NNF’s Zambezi regional office recently participated in the Durable Freshwater Protection Workshop in Zambia, joining regional partners to strengthen collaboration on freshwater conservation.
