 
                 
            NNF & NAMCOB at the 2nd Annual Lüderitz Career Fair
Over the past few days, Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) and NAMCOB were pleased to engage with more than 300 enthusiastic learners from various schools in Lüderitz at the 2nd Annual Lüderitz Career Fair.
The fair featured a wide range of exhibitors, including Kelp Blue, Blue School, Namibia Correctional Services, Namibia University of Science and Technology – NUST, Hyphen, Neuva Pesca Nova Group (Namibia), Manica Group Namibia, Seaflower Group of Companies and many more, making it a powerful hub of inspiration and learning. Approximately 100–150 learners from various schools across Lüderitz visited the stalls and engaged with the exhibitors about topics surrounding career guidance.

Lüderitz, a historic port town founded in 1883 and home to approximately 16,000 people in the ǁKaras region, is currently experiencing a renewed boom. Its economy is anchored by fishing (including lobster and oyster mariculture), coastal tourism, and emerging investments in green hydrogen and wind energy. This setting makes career exposure especially timely, connecting learners to growing sectors like marine science, eco-tourism, and renewable energy.
